Whatman Puradisc 13mm Syringe Filters
Manufacturer: Whatman (Ge)
Puradisc™ syringe filters are designed for quick and efficient filtration of samples. Syringe filters are produced from pigment-free polypropylene and have standard inlet and outlet luer connections. Sterile filters are supplied in medical-grade blister pack for critical applications. Filters are autoclavable at 121°C (131°C max.). Features include 13 mm diameter syringe filter, sample volume of up to 10 mL and low hold volume of <25 L ensuring maximum sample recovery. Some Puradisc 13 filters are available with a special tube tip outlet that allows the sample to be accurately dispensed into a micro-vial, eliminating air lock. Membranes are available in Cellulose (CA), Glass Fiber (934-AH, GM, and GF series), Nylon, Polyethersulfone, Polystyrene (PS), Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Polysulfone (PSU), Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) or Regenerated Cellulose. The media are sealed into the unit without the use of adhesives to eliminate potential sample contamination.
