Lab-Tek Chamber Slide products provide convenient tissue culture on a microscope slide. Because the plastic medium chamber is removable, cells can be grown, fixed and stained on the same slide. This eliminates transfers from other vessels to microscope slides. A convenient writing surface provides positive sample identification. Chamber Slide products are ideal for microscopic analysis of cell cultures, particularly with fluorescent stains. Chamber slide products are available on glass or plastic slides. Plastic slides are tissue culture treated for anchorage dependent cells. All slides are 25 x 75mm. Multi-well styles allow analysis of several different specimens and permits discrete use of different stains and immunochemicals. 16 well slide can be used with standard eight-channel dispensers and aspirators, so filling and replenishing media is faster. Permanox plastic is a special solvent resistant plastic used for plastic slides. The plastic has excellent optical clarity and is resistant to many solvents. Flask style chambers offer the advantage of a sealable culture vessel. The Flaskette Chamber employs a glass slide sealed with a gasket.
