Now there's a laboratory beaker that allows you to more closely duplicate actual water treatment conditions. It's B-KER2, the square laboratory beaker from Phipps & Bird. Made of strong, durable, acrylic plastic, B-KER2 minimizes sample swirl to reduce spillage during high RPM mix and to stop sample rotation quickly. B-KER2 simplifies sample draw-off by assuring you of minimum disturbance to jar contents during the sampling. The B-KER2 holds a 2-Liter capacity, provides 10cm settling distance, as required for jar-test procedures and measures approximately 4" x 4" x 8" tall. And the unit's ¼-inch wall thickness helps ensure a constant sample temperature for consistent test results. B-KER2 comes complete and ready to use. It's compatible with either the Phipps & Bird six-paddle stirrer or the four-paddle stirrer, as well as most other stirrers. New model B-Ker2s have gradients silk-screened on them and come complete with a sampling port with treaded ball valve for pulling samples.
