280 PUR (Polyurethane) Tubing-NALGE 8030-0060

NALGENE 280 Ester-based Tubing is an extremely tough product featureing excellent abrasion resistance, low-temperature resilience and flex-fatigue resistance. Pure polyurethane-contains no plasticizers and low levels of extracables, which make it ideal for high-purity applications. Resistant to atmospheric ozone, aliphatic hydrocarbons and petoleum products. Higher physical properties tha PVC products (tensile strangth, tear resistance, elongation, etc.) makes it ideal for peristaltic pump applications. Of the two PUR grades, 280 offers better resistance to weak organic acids and oils, with somewhat higher working pressures. Note: NALGENE PUR tubing is not autoclavable, but can be gas-sterilized.
