Falcon™ Multiwell Plates are available two ways; tissue-culture treated polystyrene, flat bottom, with low-evaporation lid or untreated, nonpyrogenic. Treated plates employ vacuum-gas plasma tissue-culture treated polystyrene for uniform surface chemistry that promotes cell attachment, spreading and growth. Untreated plates are made of bacteriological grade polystyrene for a more hydrophobic growth surface and reduced cell attachment. Alphanumeric well identification and condensation rings. Untreated plates come with a labyrinth lid for reduced evaporation and contamination. All styles are individually packaged in convenient peel-open medical style packaging (recyclable PET trays). Sterilized by gamma irradiation, nonpyrogenic.
