Nathan Vore joined Thermal Scientific as the company’s first IT Director in January of 2022. Bringing more than 20 years of diverse technical and managerial experience, Nathan oversees all aspects of Thermal’s tech infrastructure, including design, implementation, security and innovation.
Nathan’s passion for technology is equaled only by his passion for teaching—a trait he puts to good use educating the Thermal Scientific team on the efficiencies and opportunities inherent in implementing a world class tech stack.

A native of West Texas, Nathan attended Texas Tech University, graduating with double Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in both Management Information Systems and Management.
Prior to joining Thermal, Nathan had a storied 20-year career at JCPenney, where he held multiple positions including Application Developer, Business Analyst, and Project Manager, to name a few. His ability to thrive in various roles led to an atypical career at JCPenney, where he traveled the U.S. and around the world leading teams and launching many high-profile projects, including the Virtual JCP popup store in Times Square, NYC.
When he’s not running and refining Thermal’s tech systems, Nathan enjoys traveling the globe with his wife to places like Thailand, Cuba, Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, and Mexico. Yet no matter where they travel, they always seem to find a way to visit as many live music venues and BBQ joints as possible.
