In 1971, Dr. Monte Solazzi started Chemplex in Tuckahoe, NY with the dream of providing laboratories with a better solution for Sample Preparation. The 1430 XRF Sample Cup was the first in our product line and we are still manufacturing it today. Dr. Solazzi made the decision in 1994 to move our manufacturing facility from New York to Florida. In 2011, Michael Solazzi became President of Chemplex® to continue pursuing his father’s dream and move Chemplex® into the future.
