SDSPAGE Clean-Up Kit is designed to prepare samples for SDSPAGE that are frequently difficult to analyze due to the presence of salts or low protein concentration SDSPAGE Clean-Up Kit uses a combination of a precipitant and coprecipitant to quantitatively precipitate the sample proteins while leaving interfering substances in solution. Detergents, salts, lipids, phenolics, and nucleic acids remain soluble while the proteins are pelleted by centrifugation. The precipitate is washed further to remove nonprotein contaminants and centrifuged again. The resultant pellet is resuspended, mixed with SDSPAGE sample buffer, and heated. The sample is then ready for SDSPAGE. The procedure can be completed in under 2 h with quantitative yield
